In an op-ed published in the Boston Herald, former US Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) called on policymakers to address “the growth of the litigation finance industry, which allows hostile actors to manipulate our courts to circumvent sanctions, target strategically important industries, and even steal intellectual property.”
